Who does’nt mind a good laugh and if it spans for long, the feeling becomes an icing on the cake. Grab your chance for going on a laugh riot spanning full one hour with the play- Run for Your Wife.

Presented by Behroopiya Entertainers, the roller coaster comedy has been written by Ray Cooney. After having a successful run of nine long years in various theatres in the West End, England, the comic drama is ready to roll out on the Capital stage.

Touted as the world’s longest running comedy, it is about a middle class taxi driver (Parminder Singh Bedi aka Pammy) who has two wives( Manpreet Bedi and Babita Bedi). What else could be more hilarious than the fact that a person who can’t afford a good taxi has been lucky enough to get two wives and the best part is that both the wives chose him as they fell in love with him.

‘Run For Your Wife is a play which forces the characters and situations to be at cross purposes with each other, non–stop till the very end to such a hilarious effect that one cannot see any end to it unless of course when the lead protagonist reveals it all,’ says Mrinal Dhar, creative director of the play.

‘Its racy, sexy, saucy. Characters like Parminder Singh Bedi and his tenant-friend are always running after situations to control them and these situation often explode in their faces the moment these two men are there along with the two leading ladies,’ Dhar added.
