Delhi police effected a minor reshuffle at senior level on Monday, assigning jobs to four Joint Commissioners who returned from central deputation as well as outstation assignments.
Muktesh Chander, a 1988-batch IPS officer who was with National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO), has been posted as Joint Commissioner in-charge of Security wing.
Sanjay Beniwal, an officer of 1989 batch who was serving in Arunachal Pradesh before his transfer to Delhi Police, will be in-charge of Recruitment in the rank of Joint Commissioner.
M M Oberoi, a 1992-batch IPS officer who was on deputation with CBI, has been posted as Joint Commissioner in charge of Special Cell.
Lastly, Praveen Ranjan, a 1993-batch IPS officer who was with CBI, has been posted as Joint Commissioner (Vigilance) on repatriation from Central Deputation, a Delhi police statement said.
