National president of the BJP Rajnath Singh on Sunday inaugurated the North Delhi Municipal Corporation’s newly-constructed fully-automated multi-level underground parking and commercial complex at Mandelia Chowk in Kamla Nagar. This parking can accommodate 828 cars and 300 scooters, bikes and it has been constructed in three years in collaboration with the private sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that leadership is based on farsighted vision, strong will power and moral values. He further said that citizens should vote on the basis of these factors so that the elected government can fulfil their aspirations and provide better management.
Singh said that Delhi Metro is the result of farsighted vision of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Madan Lal Khurana who made right assessment of Delhi’s population. ‘Management of the rising population and the number of vehicles is a big challenge. Developing such a huge and modern parking facility in the commercial and densely populated area like Kamla Nagar is highly commendable on part of the corporation,’ Singh said.
Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel said that all the three corporations have done development works over the last few years without levying any new tax or increasing the existing tax.
