The BJP government on Friday announced in the Assembly that there will be a high-level probe in the alleged minority scholarship scam in Tonk and the employees guilty in this connection will be punished.
Minority Affairs Minister Arun Chaturvedi ensured the House that the alleged scholarship scam in distribution of scholarships in Madarsa board and private school would be investigated at high level.
Hailing the Minority Committee’s report on alleged irregularities in scholarship distribution in Tonk district, the Minister said anyone found guilty would not be spared.
On a supplementary question, the Minister said the Jain community's quota of scholarship was also included in the minority reservation policy, and their cases would be sent to Centre for approval.
