Rain halts Oman chase in do-or-die match against Bangladesh

Chasing 181 to qualify for the World Twenty20 main draw, Oman were 41 for two in seven over when rain halted play in the make-or-break Group A match against Bangladesh, here on Sunday.

Tamim Iqbal scored an unbeaten 103 to help Bangladesh post a challenging 180 for two after being invited to bat.

As per the Duckworth-Lewis method, the par score after seven overs was 60 and Oman were well behind.
