Property dealer shot at

A property dealer was injured when some unknown assailants fired at him and fled. He is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.

The victim is a resident of Rohini Sector 24, pocket, 2. The incident took place in Outer district’s Begumpur when the victim, Sanjay Bharadwaj, 35, who is a property dealer in Khanjhawla, was standing in his balcony.

‘He was standing around 8.30 pm, when two unknown assailants came in a car and fired two shots at him,’ said a police official. The bullets brushed passed the victim.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.

The officials claimed there might be some personal or professional dispute among the victim and the accused.

In another incident, a human foot was found in north-west Delhi’s Bhalaswa Dairy in a field on Wednesday morning.

‘A foot was found in a field, where dogs were seen eating it. The police was immediately informed,’ said an official.  According to the police officials, there was also a bag found some distance away near a canal, where khaki -coloured shirt and trousers were found.
