Prof NK Taneja took over as new vice chancellor of Ch. Charan Singh University on Tuesday. Having taken the <g data-gr-id="18">charge</g> he emphasised on giving impetus to improving <g data-gr-id="17">level</g> of education and research in the campus. He also added that his prime aim would be to reestablish the glorious past of the varsity.
After taking charge from the outgoing V-C VC Goyal, Singh garlanded statues of the martyrs in the campus. Later VC was apprised of the results and new admissions to the varsity. He appealed to all employees for cooperation. Dr VK Malhotra highlighted the glorious past of Prof Singh while Prof PK Gupta apprised him of Goyal’s achievements as vice chancellor of the university. Prof Singh emphasised on the importance of <g data-gr-id="16">team work</g> and hoped for best in the university.
