Cricketer Praveen Kumar’s gold chain worth around Rs 8 lakh was allegedly stolen from the dressing room of the Vidarbha Cricket Association here during a match, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place last evening and the complaint was filed today, they said. The India discard had left the 250-gm gold chain on the chair at the VCA dressing room before heading to the ground to play for Uttar Pradesh against Rajasthan in the Vijay Hazare one-day tournament. Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) president Prakash Dixit confirmed the incident.
