Prashant disagrees with father, says Bedi was never keen on joining politics
AAP leader Prashant Bhushan on Thursday said that he did not agree with his father Shanti Bhushan praising BJP Delhi CM candidate Kiran Bedi.
“I do not agree with Shanti Bhushan’s view about Kiran Bedi. She was always against joining politics,”
Prashant pointed out while reacting to his father’s appreciation for the BJP’s decision to rope in Kiran Bedi, India’s first woman IPS officer, for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Prashant Bhushan added that he was not able to campaign for his party as he was busy in the court. Not talking about the BJP in particular, Shanti Bhushan said: “Whether it be the AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal or BJP CM candidate Kiran Bedi, Delhi would get a good Chief Minister in the end as neither of Anna Hazare’s disciples were corrupt.”
