Update: 2016-05-16 23:14 GMT
The survey, conducted by a private news channel has given four-six seats to each party, while one-three seats to the Congress. According to the survey, the others have been shown garnering 0-2 seats.

According to the survey, the AAP is likely to fetch 31.35 per cent votes and the BJP, which rules all three MCDs in the Capital, is expected to garner 38.81 per cent votes. The Congress, which has faced a series of debacle in MCD polls, is likely to regain its base with 23.56 per cent votes and others are expected to get 11.28 per cent vote share.

“I have failed to understand as to why the BJP and the Congress make such tall claims before the results, despite knowing that they are nowhere in the electoral battle,”  said Deepak Bajpai, spokesperson, AAP. He added that the AAP would sweep all 13 wards.

“The Congress stands nowhere in the scene, while people are fed-up of corruption in BJP-ruled MCDs,” he added.

Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said based on the feedback received the party is likely to be the top performer in by-polls. “As people of the city are disappointed with the AAP’s performance, they are set to teach them a lesson. With people’s support, the BJP win score the best,” said Upadhyay.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ajay Maken said the enthusiastic manner in which the people came out to vote showed that they were unhappy with the AAP government and the BJP-ruled MCDs. He said the Congress would be making huge gains in the by-polls.
