Parl session: CPI(M) turns tables on NDA over its functioning

Update: 2015-07-21 01:58 GMT
The onus of disruption of the Monsoon Session of parliament will rest entirely on the government if it does not agree to the Opposition's demand for probes in Lalitgate and other alleged scams involving senior ministers, CPI(M) warned here on Monday.

“Why are you not applying the same yard stick to your ministers now? If they don't apply and parliament is disrupted then it is they who will be blamed for it,” CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said.

Meanwhile, the Left parties on Monday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of not keeping his promise of giving a “corruption-free” government, and staged nation-wide protests seeking action against senior BJP leaders for their alleged role in Lalit Modi row, Vyapam scam and other controversies.
