One killed in scuffle over haircut

In a scuffle over a queue for haircut at a saloon, a 30-year-old barber was shot dead by a customer at South-east Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Irshad Salmani, who owned the saloon and worked there with his brother Iqrar. On Tuesday night, the accused, identified as Afam, came to the saloon and demanded that he should be served first despite there being a long queue. When Iqrar refused, Afam pulled out a gun and shot Irshad on his chest. He fled the scene after the incident.
