A murderer who was disguised as a sweeper to evade arrest for a crime that he committed three years ago was finally arrested by Delhi Police Crime Branch.
Dharmendra, alias Kallad, was arrested on January 6 by the staff of Central Range, Crime Branch, Delhi. The arrested is also an active member of the Khurvesh Pahalwan Gang and was escaping for the past three years for a murder he had committed.
Despite all out efforts by the police, Dharmendra managed to dodge the cops and evaded arrest.
A secret information about the present whereabouts of the wanted who is involved in the murder of Gullu Jat was received by the Crime Branch. The operation was carried out by the team.
“We received an information that the accused is hiding in Delhi. On further investigation we found out that Dharmendra (31) is presently working as a sweeper with a private contractor and residing at some secret place in the area of Jahangirpuri,” said Ravindra Yadav, Crime, Delhi.
“On interrogation, the wanted admitted that he was involved in the murder case of Gullu Jat,” he added.
