OIL signs MoU for Super 30 CSR educational project

Oil India Limited (OIL), country’s second largest exploration and production company on Thursday signed an MoU with the Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL) for its CSR Project: OIL Super 30. Under the project, 30 students (in each centre) of economically disadvantaged families are provided 11 months free residential coaching for IIT-JEE & other engineering examinations.

The inking ceremony took place at the Oil India Limited’s Corporate office in Noida. The MoU between the two organisations was signed for two academic sessions 2015-16 and 2016-17, for the existing OIL Super 30 centres at Guwahati, Jorhat & Dibrugarh in Assam and Jodhpur in Rajasthan and for opening a new centre at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh for the 2015-16 academic session.

The OIL had instituted the CSR project: OIL Super 30, in 2010, with its first centre at Guwahati, with CSRL as the implementing agency. Presently there are 4 OIL Super 30 centres at Guwahati, Jorhat and Dibrugarh in Assam and Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
