NTPC-Farakka begins motor driving training on 34th Raising Day

The 34th Raising Day of Farakka Super Thermal Power Station of NTPC Limited was celebrated in a befitting manner at a function here on Tuesday. 

It was on this day in 1981, the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had laid the foundation stone of the power project. 

The function started with garlanding of the bust of Indira Gandhi in Administrative building premises by Shri P. K. Bondriya, Group General Manager and heads of various departments and representative of Unions and Associations. 

Thereafter, Bondriya hoisted the NTPC Flag amid rendition of NTPC Geet by the employees and address to the employees.  

Later, Bondriya inaugurated a six-week motor driving training course for 20 local youth under NTPC-Farakka’s CSR schene, aimed at generating self-employment.
