North Korea warns of more nuclear tests

Update: 2014-11-22 23:04 GMT
North Korea has threatened to carry out more nuclear tests. It has also rejected a United Nations resolution about abysmal human rights conditions in the country. The resolution has raised the possibility that its dictator, Kim Jong-un, and other North Korean leaders may be tried by the International Criminal Court for alleged atrocities.

The threat comes in the face of new satellite images suggesting fresh activity at a North Korean nuclear facility. N Korea previously conducted nuclear tests in 2006, 2009 and 2013. Pyongyang has previously rejected claims of human rights violations.  Military deterrence ‘will be beefed up limitlessly’ to guard against the US, N Korea’s foreign ministry said. It accused the United States of orchestrating the recent UN resolution calling for the investigation.
