A seven-year-old boy died while two dozen others were critically injured when the wall of an under-construction building collapsed on a private school in Noida’s Barola area on Thursday morning. The victims, all aged between five and seven years, met with the accident when they were in the classroom.
They were rushed to District Hospital where one of them, Sanjay Kumar, was declared dead while others were shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from where few were referred to the LNJP hospital.
Police have registered an FIR against the owner of the building and have started a search for him.
Police said that the incident was reported about 10.30 am when a combined class of Nursery, LKG and UKG was going on towards Ram Chandra Junior School in Barola.
