Noida Authority has successfully implemented state-of-the-art Highway Traffic Management Systems at Noida-Greater Noida Gautam Buddha Expressway. This system was successfully commissioned in April 2015. Implementation of this system has brought about a significant reduction in the number of accidents and cases of mugging on this Expressway.
Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India has recognised the efforts of NOIDA and gave a special national award to Noida HTMS at a special function on November 27 2015.
Noida Authority is now launching a Drive Smart mobile application from EFKON India for road users of Noida-Greater Noida Gautam Buddha Expressway.
Drive Smart provides facilities like viewing of traffic condition from all the fixed cameras on the Expressway, fog conditions and traffic visibility on the highway, facility to call up the control room from mobile app, facility to upload picture of any incident to the Control Room, entry/exits/hospitals/petrol pumps on the Expressway. Drive Smart is a free citizen application developed by EFKON India and is available on Android/Apple/Windows/Blackberry accounts of EFKON in India.
