In an initiative to get feedback of public associations, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Noida Karan Singh Chauhan along with representatives of various associations inspected development projects and civic amenities in Sector 51 of Noida on Thursday. Singh also passed orders to expedite work and improve civic amenities.
The inspection began at the community centre in Sector 51. The residents and members of RWA demanded a community centre for C, D and F blocks of Sector 51. Singh ordered the officers to submit a project report.
During the visit most of the complaints were related to encroachment of government lands, illegal construction, open drains, illegal mobile towers, sanitation, dumping of municipal waste on the open land of the authority and parks and blockage of drains. Singh also directed the officers to display the name of the officers and contact numbers for the benefit of the public.
