Update: 2013-12-08 22:40 GMT
The Noida Authority has given its nod to the design of the interstate bus terminal which is said to be on a par with Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The state-of-the-art bus terminal to be built on 2.20 lakh sq m in sector 144 along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is expected to be completed by 2015. The main terminal would be built on 6,000 sq m while the rest of the land would be used for commercial purposes. The terminal will also have 2, 3 and 5 star hotels, waiting lounge and food courts. The terminus would be fully air-conditioned.

The Authority is currently waiting for the environmental clearance and once it gets the approval, the final estimate of the project would be decided.

The project is vital for Noida not just because it will solve commuting problems but it will also boost business in the area.
