Delhi’s Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung has ruled out media speculations that he has sent a report to the Centre over possibility of government formation in Delhi.

Jung said that all the news about any report being sent to the Centre are ‘rumours’ and no such report has been prepared so far.

‘All this news (about the report) is a rumour. I have not decided yet but I am thinking about it,’ Jung
said on the sidelines of a function. On Thursday morning, some news channels reportedly claimed that a report is being sent to the Centre from the L-G’s office over possibilities of government formation.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashutosh had retaliated on the the issue and said: ‘The LG is promoting horse trading by sending a report to the Centre about possibility of government formation in Delhi.’
He also advised the L-G not to be ‘guided’ by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

‘The L-G should take a decision of his own. I hope he will not be guided by the BJP. His inaction is promoting horse-trading too. The assembly should be dissolved immediately,’ he said.
The party maintained that there is no possibility of government formation in Delhi.
