The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) issued a notice to the Deputy Commissioner of Police North-East district over allegations of police inaction in a case of abduction and forced marriage of a minor girl. The NHRC has taken <g data-gr-id="12">suo</g> <g data-gr-id="13">motu</g> cognizance of media reports that a minor girl, resident of Shastri Park in East-Delhi, was kidnapped while she was going to her school and forced
to marry.
