The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), which is vouching for the SmartCity project rolled out by Urban Development Ministry, is now seeking suggestions from public about possible upgradation and development in its areas as well as finalising the revenue model for it. NDMC has been selected by MoUD as one of the 100 smart cities to participate in the Smart City Challenge Stage-2. “We have to submit a Smart City Proposal (SCP) to the ministry, which shall outline the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders unfolding the aspiration of people matched with the vision contained in the proposal,” said Neeraj Bharti, Director (Projects), NDMC.
