A health camp was organised by New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) at Vivekananda JJ cluster near Chanakyapuri, inaugurated by Meenakshi Lekhi, Member of Parliament from New Delhi. As many as 368 people attended the health camp including 235 children and adults up to 21 years of age.
A team of nine doctors and 14 other paramedical staff from medical services department of NDMC were deployed at the Camp.
The visitors to camp were tested for anemia, diabetes and dental problems apart from weight, height and blood pressure. The NDMC officials informed that the diagnostic data and medical records of each child/person will be maintained and analyzed for proper medical intervention and follow-ups.
Delhi Cant MLA Surinder Singh and NDMC chairman Jalaj Shrivastava were also present at the event. Earlier too, the NDMC had organized two such health camps at JJ clusters near Talkatora Stadium and at Shankar Camp near New Moti Bagh.
