Bulandshahr: The Bulandshahr police on Tuesday arrested two persons in connection with abduction, rape and killing a class 11 teenage girl- who was kidnapped from Chandpur area of Bulandshahr on Friday, January 2, police said.
The accused have been identified as Julfikar Abbasi and Dilshad, both natives of Sikandrabad area of Bulandshahr district. The third accused, identified as Izrael, is on run while police have launched a manhunt to nab him, said officials.
"While interrogating the accused persons, they told police that on Friday, January 2 evening at around 6 pm they travelled to Bulandshahr in their white Maruti Alto car to pick any girl from the road and have sexual relations with her, citing it to be a pleasant weather and they wanted to have some fun. They travelled to various locations of the city starting from Bhoor Chowraha and other major roads of the looking for a girl" said Muniraj G, Senior Superintendent of police (SSP), Bulandshahr.
"Upon not finding any girl on the road, they travelled to inner parts of the city and spotted a girl who was travelling on a bicycle and started following her. As soon as the girl reached Datsun showroom near MMR mall, they dragged her into their car and moved towards Khurja through NH 91. Izrael forcefully raped girl on the back seat of moving car while Danish caught hold of the girl" SSP added.
Further the accused told police that they murdered the girl when she started screaming loud and went out of control.
"When the girl started screaming, they strangulated her to death and travelled to Dadri where they dumped her body in a drain near Bilakbarpur village" SSP continued.
The body was later recovered from the drain by police on January 4.
Police have recovered the car used in crime, deceased girl's hair band and her left leg slipper. A case has been registered against the accused persons under sections 302, 201, 376B and ¾ POSCO act in Bulandshahr police station, said officers.
