Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Tuesday flagged off bus service between India and Nepal to facilitate better connectivity between important destinations of the two neighbouring countries.
At a function organised at "Samvad", the CM Secretariat, Kumar inspected the buses equipped with modern technology and facilities before flagging off the bus service, an official release said here.
Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) run buses would ply between Bodhgaya and Kathmandu and Patna and Janakpur, it said.
Transport Minister Santosh Kumar Nirala and department Secretary Sanjay Kumar Agarwal presented memento(Pashupatinath temple) to the CM.
Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee Secretary Nangje Dorje and Chief Monk Chalinda offered 'angvastra' to the CM, the release said.
