Hry announces sewerage facilities in Barwala

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar fulfilled the longstanding demand of Barwala residents by announcing the availability of sewerage facilities in the village, which would address the issue of waterlogging and ensure proper water drainage.

He also announced that the community centre in Barwala would be named after Shaheed Rajpal Rana.

These key announcements were made by the Chief Minister as he addressed the people during the Jan Samvad held at the community centre in Barwala, district panchkula on Sunday. Khattar stated that in the last 9 years of the present state government’s tenure, significant developmental work has been undertaken at the tehsil, block, and district levels. He said that substantial funds of Rs 25 crores have been allocated for road construction in each constituency, with road construction work already underway. Khattar further asserted that in the past, lack of accurate population figures often led to estimation-based project implementation.However, the introduction of the Parivar Pehchan Patra has enabled the government to accurately determine the population of any village or town. Khattar commended the current government’s transparent approach to employment.
