Haryana CM announces projects worth Rs 10 cr for Ladwa on Lohri

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini celebrated the Lohri festival in Ladwa, where he also announced projects worth Rs 10.42 crore for the constituency.

The Chief Minister announced development projects worth Rs 4.70 crore for Ladwa and community centres in Bir Mathana and Ram Saran Majra villages costing Rs 2.72 crore and Rs 3 crore respectively. Former Minister Subhash Sudha organised a Lohri celebration for the people of Ladwa assembly, which witnessed participation from thousands of people. Chief Minister Saini and Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli were also present during the Lohri celebration programme.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister extended greetings for Lohri and Makar Sankranti to the people of Haryana. “India’s unity in diversity is beautifully represented in this festival,” he said.

During the programme, Punjabi singer Sunita Dua Sehgal and her team captivated the audience with traditional Punjabi folk songs.
