'Committed to establishing Hry as leading startup hub'

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for highlighting the growing start-up culture in cities like Ambala and Hisar in the state during his first 'Mann Ki Baat' programme of 2025.

Chief Minister Saini heard the 118th episode of the 'Mann Ki Baat' programme in Kaithal on Sunday. Addressing the party workers after the programme, the Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to establishing Haryana as a leading startup hub. He further said that Haryana is home to many young entrepreneurs whose startups are now setting benchmarks, with turnovers ranging from Rs 100 to 200 crore. The government is making concerted efforts to position Haryana as a major player in the national startup ecosystem, aligning with the goals of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Startup India’.

The aim is not only to accelerate the state’s economic development but also to create new employment opportunities for the youth, ensuring that Haryana earns a distinctive identity as a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship across the country. He further mentioned that the state government is actively considering new schemes in the budget for the financial year 2025-26 to promote startups.
