Nand Nagri triple murder accused who jumped from balcony dies

Update: 2016-10-06 00:50 GMT
The main accused arrested in the Nand Nagri triple murder case last month succumbed to injuries at a government hospital on Wednesday.

Police said the accused, Rajesh Kumar (40), had allegedly bludgeoned to death his father-in-law and two brothers-in-law, sleeping on the terrace of their house in Northeast Delhi’s Nand Nagri area, on  September 20. Rajesh also attacked two others, who were severely injured.

After attacking his in-laws, Rajesh, in order to evade arrest, reportedly jumped from the balcony of an adjacent house but was caught by the neighbours, who handed him over to the police.
