Highlighting the need for research and development in the current environment, Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday said the innovation through constant research could only bring in faster infrastructure development of the nation.
Naidu said this while inaugurating IIT Roorkee-NBCC Research and Development Centre on sustainable civil infrastructure at IIT Roorkee?s Greater Noida Extension Centre.
Congratulating the initiative of NBCC and IIT Roorkee, the Minister assured both of the government?s all possible support in the venture. Naidu mentioned that the research and innovation shall provide the necessary impetus to the present government’s resolve to achieve the goal of housing for all by 2022.
