Embattled BCCI president N Srinivasan, who stepped aside after the IPL spot-fixing scandal, has not yet made up his mind on attending the ICC annual conference in London and will decide on it closer to the date of sub-committee meetings.
The conference started on Tuesday and will continue till 29 June. There is intense speculation on whether conference would be attended by Srinivasan, who stepped aside as BCCI president after his son-in-law and CSK team principal Gurunath Meiyappan was arrested for alleged betting.
‘Srinivasan has not yet decided about his going to London for the ICC meeting. The meeting (that he is supposed to attend) is on June 29 and he will decide closer to the date whether he would go or not,’ Tamil Nadu Cricket Association secretary Kashi Viswanathan, who is also a close aide of Srinivasan, said.
Srinivasan, who was unanimously elected the president of TNCA at its 83rd annual general meeting on Sunday, is expected to attend the sub-committee meetings in the ICC annual conference.
