Putting to rest the speculation of possible violence in the communally-tensed ares, no untoward incident was reported from the area. However, police detained a couple of rumour mongers in the afternoon. They were later released after being given a warning, said a police officer.
‘It remained low-key affair as neither of them inflicted injuries on themselves as part of mourning, nor were there any stunt performances with combat weapons and fire,’ said a local in Trilokpuri.
