Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq is not averse to the idea of making some changes in the squad ahead of team’s tour to the West Indies as he dropped hints that axe may fall on non-performing players.
Pakistan suffered humiliation of losing all three Group matches in Champions trophy and Misbah said if the selectors feel that changes are required, they were right.
‘Nothing wrong in this. No player should think his place in the national team is confirmed if he does not perform up to expectations,’ Misbah said, adding: ‘I will be coming home soon and will take part in the deliberations for the selection of the squad for the coming tours to West Indies and Zimbabwe.
