Update: 2014-10-19 23:05 GMT
Police is still clueless about the death of the 27-year-old call centre executive from Mizoram, whose body was found with a severe head injury and stab wounds in her abdomen and thigh, in her rented room at south Delhi’s Munirka on Thursday night.

Juliet Zonunmawi’s body was handed over to her family members on Saturday after the postmortem examination. Her family members had made necessary arrangements to take her body to Aizawl, said a police official.

He further said that the police is still interrogating her live-in partner, Virender Singh, and others who had attended a party in her Munirka room before she was found dead under mysterious circumstances.

After officials of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory had collected evidences from the spot, her body was preserved at the mortuary in Safdarjung Hospital, for her parents to arrive. It was sent for a post-mortem examination only after that.

Police suspects this to be a case of murder and an FIR was registered under section 302 (murder) of IPC against unidentified people at the Vasant Vihar police station on Friday. However, no arrests were made till Saturday evening.

The case is being further investigated to unearth the whole conspiracy in this drug syndicate.
