Two minors brutally murdered a 14-year-old boy for cigarette in West Delhi's Uttam Nagar area on Thursday. The accused have been arrested and sent to a juvenile home.
The three minors, who were friends, were roaming outside their houses after dinner, when one of the accused demanded a cigarette from the victim, who has been identified as Ajay. When he refused to give it to him, they had a heated argument that later turned violent.
Meanwhile, one of the minors took a brick and attacked Ajay, causing severe head injuries. The two continued to hit him, even as he lay in a pool of blood, before escaping from the spot. A passerby noticed the body lying on the roadside and informed the police.
The cops took him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
