A 40-year-old mini-truck driver was found murdered outside his house on Thursday morning. 'The incident came to light at approximately 7 am after a neighbour found Sher Singh, the victim, lying in a pool of blood outside his house at Patel Nagar in central Delhi,' said a police officer.
The neighbour raised an alarm and informed his wife and four children, who were inside the house. Police took him to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A deep-cut from a sharp-edged weapon was found on his thigh.
'Sher Singh, the driver, had returned after the night duty. The mini-truck was found parked near his house,' said a police officer.
