Metro rolls out first fully ad-wrapped train on Yellow Line

Delhi Metro on Thursday rolled out its first fully advertisement-wrapped train on the Yellow Line route spanning Jahangirpuri to HUDA City Centre.

The metro train wrap, rolled out by e-commerce firm ‘IndiaMART’, featured Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan as its brand ambassador. Earlier, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had inducted the first-ever train with advertisements wrapped on its exterior on Dwarka-Vaishali route of Blue Line that is Line 3/4.

Approximately 15 such trains will be inducted, initially with seven trains on Line 2 from Jahangirpuri to HUDA City Centre and eight trains on Line 3/4 which are the busiest lines of the metro network. Currently only six coach trains are being wrapped.

Another advertisement-wrapped metro train on the Blue Line route, from Dwarka to Noida, will be rolled out from Friday.
