Medical colleges in Delhi will go by NEET scores

Students aspiring to get admission into medical colleges will now have to appear for common National Entrance and Eligibility Test (NEET).

In pursuance to Ministry of Health, Government of India, request, Delhi government has taken a decision that admission to MBBS/BDS, PG Medical programmes will be taken on the basis of NEET. The applicants seeking admission to the university in VMMC and PGIMER, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospitals will have to submit their NEET scores along with their NEET registration number to initiate the admission process.

However, admission to superspeciality programmes will be carried out on the basis of CET conducted by the university. The last date for sale as well as submission of forms is extended to 16 April.

The last date for sale and submission of some other programmes (without CET) and all Weekend programmes has also been extended to 27th May. The Last date for sale and submission of Ph.D programme is 19th April. University has so far received 60 thousands online forms for different programmes and 90 thousands forms have been sold through select branches of Indian Bank.
