Dismayed over media reports, “misquoting” BJP president Amit Shah saying that it will take 25 years for the government to fulfill its promises to bring “Achhe Din”, the party on Tuesday described the news article as baseless and fabricated.
Addressing a press conference at BJP headquarters in the national Capital, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, “Shah’s comments were misconstrued by the English daily which appeared on Tuesday. I would like to clarify that he was talking about making India a world leader in 25 years and did not say any word with regard to “Acche Din”.
“Our party president said that inflation, unemployment, border security, foreign policy issues, eradication of poverty etc could be resolved in five years. But dream to make India a world leader is only possible when BJP will be everywhere in India from Panchayat to Parliament and for that we have to win every elections for coming 25 years in all level,” Goyal said.
