Chennai Super Kings maintained its good run in IPL-7 by scripting a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians with as many 10 balls to spare. Chasing 141, CSK went past the target in 18.2 overs as MS Dhoni (14*) hit the winning runs with Brendon McCullum remaining unbeaten on 70.

Earlier, Mohit Sharma (4/14) produced a fine death bowling display to pick up four wickets to help CSK restrict MI to a modest 141/seven. Bowling the 19th over, Mohit picked up three wickets, Ambati Raydu, Kieron Pollard and Harbhajan Singh, to prevent a late burst from Mumbai batsmen.

Mumbai’s innings mainly revolved around captain Rohit Sharma and Correy Anderson. While Rohit made 50 off 41 balls, Anderson scored 39 off 31 balls. But once the duo departed their innings fell apart as Mumbai could manage just 33 runs off the last five overs.
