UK-based Arts University Bournemouth is organizing The Gender Defined World Exhibition at the India Habitat Centre on 2 May wherein powerful expressions by 11th and 12th class school students from the country will be on display in the form of paintings, photographs and films. 

The exhibition is an upshot of the international art competition titled Who are you in a gender defined world which was conducted by the university in 2013 end that witnessed participation of hundreds of school students from India who created artworks that looked at their identities in the context of gender attitudes in society.

What defines you in this gender biased society? It is definitely not your chromosomes. titled Out of the 100 best entries from the competition Who are you in a gender defined world- evaluated by a panel of judges comprising of eminent personalities from the creative field of India and abroad, twenty two finalists have been shortlisted to showcase their creative artworks at the The Gender Defined World exhibition.
