Man stabbed to death for attempting to resolve scuffle

With increasing number of road rage incidents in the city, yet another came to light on Thursday when a 26-year-old was stabbed to death multiple times by two unidentified youths in South East Delhi’s Amar Colony in the evening. The victim has been identified as Mohammad Saddam. On Thursday around <g data-gr-id="23">5pm</g>, Saddam saw two people fighting and attempted to resolve the issue. 

One of the accused got furious and took out a knife and allegedly stabbed Saddam multiple times. The incident took place near a police barricade. A passerby made a PCR call and the police reached on the spot. He was admitted to AIIMS Trauma Center where he was declared dead on arrival. A case has been registered at the Amar Colony police station under appropriate sections of the law.

According to senior police officials, the police have started <g data-gr-id="19">investigation</g> to apprehend the two accused. The police have detained one but are not willing to disclose his <g data-gr-id="18">identify</g> as this will create problems in arresting the other. The victim, unmarried, was survived by his father who is a rickshaw puller and his elder brother, a tailor. Search operations are on to nab the other accused.
