Bangalore’s Viraj Madappa became the overall leader with a superb two-under 70 that also gave him the lead in the Category B after the third round in the USHA IGU Juniors, the season’s opening junior golf tournament at the Army Golf Club (AEPTA).
Viraj, one of the most promising youngsters in the country, shot one-under 35 on either side of the turn, while overnight overall and category B leader, MohanSardar slipped with a round of 81 on third day. Viraj Madappa is now one-over 217 for three days.
