LS proceedings paralysed over Telangana issue

As soon as the House assembled for the day, members of Congress, YSR Congress and TDP displayed placards opposing creation of Telangana by bifurcating Andhra Pradesh. Samajwadi Party members trooped into Well demanding government action against repeated incursion into Indian territory by China. Speaker Meira Kumar then adjourned the House till noon.  Members from Seemandhra region belonging to Congress, TDP and YSR Congress were also in the Well shouting ‘Save Democracy’ and ‘Don’t divide Andhra Pradesh’.  YSR Congress leader Jaganmohan Reddy staged a dharna in the Well to protest against creation of a separate Telangana. He was carrying the copy of a newspaper which had carried news regarding introduction of Telangana Bill in the Andhra Pradesh assembly amid din.
