Left out by Modi, BJP Bihar panel calls meet

Update: 2012-10-19 01:48 GMT
After Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi left out Bharatiya Janata Party leaders from Bihar from his list of campaigners in the Gujarat assembly elections, the party’s Bihar core group will be meeting in Delhi on 22 October to discuss the issue.

Leaving out leaders from Bihar displays the strained relationship between Modi and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, as the BJP leaders from the state were known to be in the good books of the Bihar chief minister. Sources say that in the meeting the issue will be brought up and will be discussed with the central leadership.
