When we connect with any new community, it is not meant for any electoral gains or losses but it is inspired by the message of social harmony by Deen Dayal Upadhyay. He assured that BJP Delhi Pradesh will fight for the entire Dalit community,” said Amit Shah in the rally.
There were around 3000 people who attended the rally organised by Dalit leader Mor Singh who said that the community was ditched by the Congress in their efforts to gain acceptance and equal privileges within society and so were now keen to support the saffron party.
“We will include this promise in our manifesto for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections besides confirmation of services to all employees,” said Satish Upadhyay.
He further added that his party would soon introduce cashless schemes for sanitation employees of all the three municipal corporations and free them from the contact system after coming to power in
Delhi.
He also promised to provide alternative employments to the next of kin of the employee who dies in
any accident while cleaning the sewer system, on preferential basis. After the rally, Shah also headed a meeting of the state BJP office bearers on the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Delhi assembly polls.
