L-G to address budget session

Delhi Vidhan Sabha budget Session will begin from 13 March. The Delhi goverment has prepared Lieutenant governor’s address for the opening day of the session. It is expected that in L-G’s address the emphasis will be on social sectors, authorisation’s process of 1,200 unauthorised colonies, infrastructure development, mono rail and expansion of Delhi Metro Rail.  The achievements of government will also be highlighted. Delhi has spent more than Rs 3,500 crore for developmental works in colonies. Now the sword hanging over the unauthorised colonies has become irrelevant. According to official sources, L-G’s address will also mention the mega projects of Barahpullah elevated road extension up to INA and Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar in trans-Yamuna. The traffic situation in Delhi has eased substantially with the coming up of 75 fly overs. The situation is bound to further ease with commissioning of the Signature bridge over Yamuna.
