Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on Saturday released a book on spiritualism– Man’s Spiritual Journey- Thoughts and Reflections– written by the vice-chairman of Delhi Development Authority Balvinder Kumar.
‘There are arguments about existence or non-existence of god but we have to choose our path,’ said Jung while speaking at the function. The L-G also gave five point roadmap to spiritualism in which he said that people should accept change. ‘We should give up our fear of change, be more receptive to various ideas, aware about happenings and ideas, live in the present and meditation to move towards spiritualism,’ Jung further added. The function was organised at Bahai House of Worship (Lotus Temple).
Speaking on the occasion the author Balvinder Kumar said that he was much impressed by Buddha philosophy and spiritualism so those ideas are reflected in his spiritual thinking and creativity. ‘The book is my own experience on spiritualism and the way my ideas of spiritualism took a shape,’ said Kumar. There was also a small exhibition of his painting which were mostly related to Buddha and his life in various postures. Swami Nikhilananda Saraswati, regional head of the Chinmaya Mission and spiritual Guru of Kumar also presented his view on spiritualism.
