The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has got information about some suspected persons who had helped fake doctors to get MBBS certificates.
The investigating agency had arrested two fake doctors who were employed in two state-run health centres in North Bengal a few days ago.
They were remanded to the custody of the agency.
After interrogating the duo — Khusinath Halder and Kaiser Alam — the investigating officers of CID have come to know about the persons who had helped them to get fake certificates in 2011.
Sources said that during interrogation, both of them have revealed the names of the people and they also told that the same persons had given fake certificates to some more like them.
Both the persons, whom the CID will be summoning soon for interrogation in this connection, are now at present in two different districts of North Bengal. The investigating officers became sure that it would not have been possible for them to get certificates without the help of
those persons.
